Olsson Lyckefors Arkitektur has designed the interior of Krog Agrikultur under Guldbron in stockholm.

The building, designed by Wingårdhs Architects as part of the Slussen project, is located beneath the main bridge on the southern side of the lock channel.

Floor-to-ceiling glass walls facing east, west, and south give the entire dining room a spectacular view. From the dining area and the open kitchen, guests can enjoy water views of both Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea, while the life of the city remains fully present in the glazed space.

The interior design is based on this very view. The floor is blue, its shade chosen to mirror the Baltic Sea on a grey day. The ceiling is finished with coarse acoustic plaster reminiscent of a cloudy sky, while also contributing to a pleasant sound environment in an otherwise acoustically challenging space.

To further emphasize the interplay between inside and outside, the interior surfaces of the façade columns are clad in polished mirror steel. This creates a visual effect reflecting the city’s movements and reinforces the architectural idea of the large, open glass room.

The color palette of the furniture and details draws inspiration from Magnus Carlén’s artwork Stadens ton, an abstraction of the city’s pale and softly varied façade colors in plaster and brick.

In addition to designing the entire interior from start to finish, Olsson Lyckefors also served as project manager for the construction of the interiors
