The apartment has been designed with two central principles in mind. The first was to remove all interior walls to create one large, harmonious space instead of the three smaller, less functional rooms that originally existed. The second principle was to let the choice of color and surface finishes be inspired by a painting by the artist Ulrika Linder. Through this approach, we were able to free ourselves from personal taste preferences and instead let a work of art guide the aesthetic choices.
The result is a thoughtfully designed interior where every detail is carefully planned. Screed flooring in the same shade as the walls and ceiling create a cohesive backdrop for the custom-built furnishings, such as the kitchen island, the built-in sofa, shelves, radiator covers, and the bed.
